An example of a small job was to perform the repairs required to sell our house, and John's knowledge base allowed him to excel in completing the random repairs in the time we needed it completed.
We also hired John for two large jobs and we were very pleased with the results! At our previous house, John remodeled one of our bathrooms. He tore it down to the studs and created a very modern bathroom. John's ability to think through not only what we requested but also thinking forward to what we might enjoy or what might be beneficial in the process showed he had our best interest in mind.
At our new house we asked John to finish an unfinished half of our basement, which amounted to nearly 400 sq ft.! This was where his creativity and woodworking craftsmanship came into play. We wanted an area for our kids to play in that could also serve the function of a family room. What we ended up with was a beautiful, open room with a truly unique, built-in play structure that has given our kids endless hours of fun! We told John we wanted a play structure and gave him a rough idea of dimensions and then his workmanship and creativity turned it into something great! He was very good about communicating his thoughts and discussing options and plans with us. He was also good about recommending subcontractors for jobs that he didn't have time or expertise to do.
